This is the most involved quilt I have ever made. I designed all the fruit and veggies myself.
This quilt is machine pieced, needle turned applique, hand embroidered, and hand quilted. It took me about 6 months and it is only a lap size quilt. I gave it to my DMIL for Christmas. She is a dear sweet lady and is not in the best of health right now.
Another beautiful execution, specailly since you designed it yourself.
I'm thinking maybe I like the "specialness" of self designed pieces more than the actual look.
