I am finding that with a polyester quilt batting I am needing more glue! I just did my charity quilts for the year and I used polyster batting on 4 of the 6 and I should have used more glue - I am not having any trouble FMQ just it couldhave been a bit more secured. I have done 14 double sized quilts or larger and haven't even used a 1/2 of a gallon of glue so so about .50 cents a quilt to sandwich. Love to save money. Also I amglue the backing to the batting let is sit for a few hours and then flipping it over and using the glue on the batting to secure the top! Elmer's Wshable School Glue by the gallon is what I am using
