You are more then "Ready." Hopefully you will be able to do something with your practice piece--too special to scrap.
Thanks for sharing that it is a Brother that you used. I often think it is the quilter's talent and not a particular machine. I figure I just need more practice. Lots more practice.

YES! Believe it or not - I did this on just a cheapo Brother sewing machine my Husband bought for me as a back up at Walmart!
