I inherited a family quilt that has the same red, tan & white colors. My mother said that the tan had originally been bright green, but that it had faded when they were in a gas-heated home. There was even a tiny bright green repair. (It is still there!) It was made in 1897 for my grandparents' marriage. Machine pieced, hand quilted.
