Default Tealfalcon's Pumpkin Pie quilted by Feline Fanatic

I posted pictures of this quilt in progress here http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...k-t210274.html

I finished up yesterday afternoon, well almost. I see two squares in the checkerboard I missed filling in so will pop it back on today and do those. But it is done enough to share. I had a load of fun quilting this whimsical CUTE quilt. All hand done needleturn applique. I have to say Tisha does beautiful work. This quilt is nice and square and her needle turn is impeccible. Tisha said she likes lots of quilting so I think I satisfied that requirement. LOL.

The techy stuff: Pattern is called Pumpkin Pie by Bunny Hill designs. I used two layers of batting. Fairfield 80/20 blend on bottom, Hobbs Polydown on top. I used Superior So Fine thread a cream color on the border and in the white. The green is Connecting Threads essential cotton and the orange on the pumpkins and black in the crows is Fil-tec Glide. I marked the quilt in advance using a clover water soluble blue marker. On my previous thread you can see the marks but now they have all been removed. It took approximately 16 hours to quilt this (give or take as I didn't keep careful track).

First pictures are done without flash to see all the wonderful texture. Then some pictures with flash to better see the green and finally a the gratuitous back shot. As always, I look forward to reading your comments. Thanks for looking
