Sorry but I don't get it. I've been on 3 cruises and had a lot of fun (with my hubby), but going was a vacation that I saved up for. I did it for relax, see new places, try new things. I sew/quilt at home, why pay for a cruise to sit and sew?
A lot of times you don't
just sit and sew. There are lots of notable and famous quilters who teach on the cruises. Having access to a quilt teacher for a week, not having to cook and clean, eating delicious food, seeing gorgeous scenery, hanging out with other women who are quilters - what's not to like? There are also lots of non-quilting activities organized. One of my friends went on a quilt cruise last year and loved it, but she said lots of times she was torn between the quilting activities and non-quilting activities that were at the same time.
