Free motion is fun but it does have a learning curve. I am still making flowers and shamrocks, oh and hearts as well as good old loop-d-loops. Such fun once you get the hang of it. My best hint that I have heard from many is... play music you like and relax your shoulders. Ahhhhh it's wonderful.
