I was lucky to have a BFF that went with me my first few times picking out fabric for a project. When I get overwhelmed with my choices, which is often, I've learned to stop, re-focus on my goal and choose a focus fabric. The focus fabric is based on my vision for the end result (color, theme, recipient's taste, etc) and then I move through the store picking up complimentary colors. I can now go to the fabric store all by myself
, but of course it's more fun with a friend.
