I know what you mean. I just finished a Hunter's Star for my DD for Christmas & it did get quite boring but I perservered & finished it in time for gifting. Turned out beautiful but I was quite glad it was done. Really like yours too. I am now in the middle of making 2 Carpenter's Star quilts & I like them a lot. Easy process with very striking results. They are also for gifts - my sister (who is turning 65) & a dear friend & both of them have their birthday the same day on Valentines Day. Gotta get busy.
