I would have loved to learn how to hand piece, use templates and quilt on an old fashioned frame. Arthritis has put the kibosh on that pipe dream. What to did deserves appreciation. Didn't you read her post? I'm laughing. She almost lost her mind!! I give her an A++ for perseverance and the quilt is lovely BUT I think most of us quilters would agree on the fact that there is no sanity in these old, out of date methods unless you're into mindfulness meditation...and who's got time for that?
