NJ Quilter...thanks that is exactly what I meant. I find that depending on the material or the thread, I'm having to adjust tension, use a different needle, adjust my bobbin tension, adjust my pressure-foot pressure, and the list seems to go on. I find myself sitting down and thinking, "OK...now what did I do last time?" Of course, I'm fairly new to FMQ so maybe this becomes second nature after awhile. I certainly hope so.

But for now, I'm still in the 'what do I need to do for this project' stage. I thought maybe someone had a cheat sheet form for such a thing that I could beg/borrow. If not, I'll just have to come up with my own.

BTW, I loved reading how everyone kept records of their quilts; I especially enjoyed the picture of the memory book page and loved the story component idea as well.
