I am going to do the 'Country Bride' quilt pattern for my granddaughter's bridal shower. It is mostly white that is quilted with center blocks that are white with print lovebirds and hearts appliqued on them. Everything else is white and the side/top/bottom borders are white (16 1/2 x 112 borders on each side of the blocks). So as you can see it is mostly a white quilt.
I was going to do the white part with a tone on tone white...but after looking at some yesterday and thinking about the extensive quilting done, I'm wondering whether that is the way to go.
I had previously thought that plain white with no pattern would look too plain. Now I'm confused about what to do. Any thoughts about what you'd select?
