Thanks for the replies so far,

To clarify, the first picture is just the four blocks (on my kitchen floor). I pushed them together for the second picture to show the secondary star that forms from the four corners touching.

I plan to use a small dark blue inner border followed by a larger print border.

What I can't figure out is how to arrange the different coloured blocks in a larger format to make a quilt - how to I lay them out to showcase the dark blue, the light blue, the dark brown and the caramel colours.

Scissor Queen - I love the blocks more now I have seen them at arm's length in the photo. I was getting tired of flying geese today.I have about 32 blocks done in total, and need to do more, but want to settle on a layout so I know how many more of each colour I need to do.

Looking forward to any ideas, any and all suggestions appreciated!
