should Essential threads be used vertically at all? I know there is a rule about the different ways thread is wound. ????????
It really depends on your machine. My Pfaff doesn't seem to care whether the top and bobbin threads match. However, it DOES care if I don't put the top spool on so the 'dent' doesn't catch thread. Either put it horizontally with the dent on the RIGHTand loosely put the stopper against it - or put it on vertically with the dent on the BOTTOM.
Experiment with different threads. Just make sure that dent isn't catching threads.
