Oh my goodness, my mom doesn't quilt but she hand sews and there are pins EVERYWHERE in her house. On the tile floor, stuck in throw rugs, in the carpet in her room, in the bed, on the dining room table, under the placemats. It is very dangerous, especially since she is diabetic.
