I am determined..and I wont start a new project ( besides christmas gifts) until they are gone!

But I am itching to get them done because we just ordered a bunch of new fabric for the shop and I want to buy some of it up!
Your last statement explains part of a quilter dilemma ... you know all that neat fabric at the shop? Well, it will disappear faster than you can imagine, and you will learn ... if you see something you want, better get two yards of it now, otherwise, it will disappear! <g>
I am trying to learn to just leave it and let God figure out if I will ever add it to my "collection" ...
But! The bigger experience here is: Scraps, exposed to air, GROW ... and, they will never disappear!
Now, I haven't always put this into practice, but ... if you start making crazy blocks out of little formed blocks, they will never become a quilt unless you determine the size of a square and start putting those squares together.
I was looking for some fabric in the bunkhouse the other day, opened up BIG container ... and, there were maybe five yards of fabrics on top of TONS of partially finished scrap blocks ... I have GOT to put them into a quilt! but, first ... I have to finish those other scraps I was working with!
And, that, my friend, is the reality of this scrap quilter!
I only started quilting to use up the scraps from the shirts I was making. I am not making shirts any more, but ... LOL
