Love your bloaks and love the way you have arranged them. I agree that it would look nice to have the tree in the top left corner and to have flying geese framing the centre block but it all depends on what sort of look you want to achieve. It is lovely as it is and I feel that a plain border as illustrated by your floor looks great and if you like the look then go for it. I sometimes feel that the simpler it is the better.
