Thanks Sandy for the kitchen island idea. The room I am making into a sewing room will also be a guest room with a sleeper sofa so space is limited, therefore I need a table that folds down to smaller size.

Not knowing if you have a budget range but have you considered looking at mobile kitchen islands? I brought mine to my sewing room after we remodeled our kitchen. It is the right height and it is on wheels, has storage shelves behind doors. I love my island. There are so many to choose from these days.
Based on a 5-star review, give the walmart table a try.
