Default Juki machine - adjusting the presser foot tension

I'm using a stretched 18 inch Juki from a defunct supplier and my yahoo group seems also to have disappeared.
I have wanted to play with the pressure of the qulting foot for a while but now I have no reference.
Those of you who own a Juki, have you ever played with this option? I'm unhappy with the material scooting in front of the foot. It usually does no harm in the long run but I'm quilting a loose, all diagonal king size for a customer and I'm tired of constantly compensating for the shift. Any experience you've had with adjusting the pressure foot would be appreciated.
