But in the end, I did finish it and I donated it through my church to a family in need. I can't tell you how happy that made me and how glad I was that I finished it. What I saw as ugly and useless someone else saw as beautiful and were busy using it to make memories.

So I would suggest that you donate the quilt (whether finished or just the top or blocks for someone else to finish). It might just become someone else's treasure!
