There are three ways to enlarge a quilt - 1) add more blocks, 2) increase the size of the blocks, or 3) add more borders. My personal preference is to make the blocks bigger. For example, if the pattern calls for 2.5" strips (finishing to 2"), I would be tempted to use 3.5" strips, (finishing to 3"),
