i had this same problem and when i asked the board, the general concensus was to remove the offending border and start over. i will not be doing this, but i will be paying my long-arm quilter a little more money to be mindful of this mistake. hopefully, she will be able to ease in the slight ruffling. if not, and it looks really bad, i will trim the border down and hope that works. after i mention all of these "if's", maybe i need to take the border off after all! lol

(ps. i haven't touched it since i had asked the group about it.)
