We just started up a group, no name yet.. all offers considered LOL We had our first gathering last week and there were 4 of us. Our library has a room that is free to use. we started the group for anyone with a project, not just quilting, its just for getting together and getting some projects done. I think it will be a great thing. There is a quilting group in our area, but they really did not welcome anyone new. very cold. That's what lead us to find a different area, so that ANYONE to come and sit and do a project or learn one. women or men. I do hope it works out well for us, we had a lot of fun and got a lot done in just a few hours, it also gets you to stay focused on the project at home as you want to show how much progress has been made since the last time you were together. I'm glad for it, I think it is just what I need.
