Just noticed your black strips seem wide?? what size did you cut?? I was thinking cutting 3/4 inch for narrow lead look.
( yes I have done stained glass before ), figure I won't get burnt with soldering iron using fabric.
The pattern was a bento box so I used a sashing width of 2.5 inches. I didn't know it looked like stained glass till I got done with it! hahahahaha
