Ggal--I explained how I do my QAYG on the Rosie thread (look on the page before my final quilt picture for the description and then the same page as for the step by step pics added later to help explain it better). I do the QAYG by the row and then do SITD around the parts of the block that I wanted stitching on....you can kind of see it on these pictures around the yellow fabric. I do the SITD before adding each row so I don't have as much quilt to roll/handle/turn when quilting...hope this makes sense.
