The other day I posted that I was thinking of switching out my 301's foot controller for the newer style electronic foot control.
I have two reasons for wanting to do this:
1. After a fair amount of FMQ'ing, the foot control gets warm.
2. The button on the foot control and I don't always agree what speed I'm asking for.
Well, today I ran across this video that shows the change in speed control on a Singer 201, comparing the original foot control versus the newer electronic style:
