Argh.. introductions are hard! I am new to this quilting thing, in fact SO new - I haven't even started yet.
So.. how did I get here?
I work with miniatures - 1:12 scale and when it came to decorating my little homes - I decided it was time for a new sewing machine. I found a brand new one on eBay - for half the price (unwanted gift.. it was MEANT to be!).. it's a Quilters edition...
So - I thought, why not try it!
Out I went and bought a panel for a cot - and got the batting & back today - and I have NO Idea where to start LOL
Been watching a few tutorials here and there, but it's hard to find a good one that uses panels - I thought it would be easier.
Have been practicing with miniature things, almost completed a bedspread - but now I need to do this cot quilt - it's for a friend!
So.. I joined up here, hoping to learn a trick or two.
I live in Melbourne, Australia - have 2 sons, 17 & 22, a dog, a bird & 2 lizards.
