MiraB ... I remember the pictures you showed us of the "trains" ... was that what you called the caravans? Such a different life. And I'm sure most who go to visit, never get to those parts to really see the remoteness. As in Canada, large distances and wide open spaces abound. Though in this part, urban sprawl sure has changed things!
Anael ... I still don't think of hopping in the car and driving a distance, though I know so many shudder at 20kms, let alone the 200 kms you have mentioned!!

I think being raised in the country where you had to drive everywhere, just made it the norm for me. And even now, to go or do anything, it's still a distance, even if only a few kms, so I don't think of it! ............ as for the price of gas, well, another story!
