Sorry I didn't really mean that SITD isn't real quilting. I used a stencil on the border. The pattern I made up after completing the blocks
( Block name is StarWheels which I edited a little bit since the Y seams were giving me a hard time
This was pretty time consuming witth all the half square triangles, but well worth the time. I had to take a month off midway thru afer getting shingles, I just could not work on it for a bit. Total time it took to make was about 80 hours. Thank you for all the comments
this is my 5th quilt. I think I am getting better with each one.
