I did use a big safety pin but then I couldn't get the pin out the opposite end. I had to open the seam to get it out. I know I'm overlooking something that should be simple. LOL
Okay-----------I've threaded more elastic than you've probably seen. I'm going to ask a very simple question? Did you leave an opening big enough to thread thru? It's probably inside where no one can see, so cut the opening to suit yourself. Then slip stitch shut when you're done.
The safety pin is my preferred method to thread if you leave the casing wide enough.
