I am making my first flannel quilt. The top is made using four different flannel prints. I have quite a bit of the flannels left over and wondered if I refigured them into a new pattern for the back, would it make the quilt too weighty or too heavy? Also, what should I use for the batting? Should I use any special needles, threads or quilting foot when I get ready to quilt it? I would appreciate any advice you can share. I LOVE this Board!!!!!
