That's an interesting suggestion though. The issue was she had washed and dryed the material and the wrinkles were set in.

I've used this method with fabric that's been washed and dried, as well as with unwashed fabric that has that pesky center fold. It always seems to work. I think it's the stretching on the frame that makes it work.
