I am thinking that I saw some ideas somewhere about what to do with the iron instead of using the holder. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!
Clover? I pitched out the little holder within 15 minutes of starting to use the little iron. The iron fell over, melted the holder, made a mess on the iron shaft. Now it gets stuck in a small vase that is tall enough for the iron to hang by its cord within the vase.
