i'll give it a try and others can help.

After quilting lay your PPs raw edges even with the raw edge of the quilt top with the point going towards the center of the quilt. baste them onto the top with a seam allowance slightly narrower than 1/4" .

I have onle knife edge finish when I do prarie points so other s can help out there.


Now there are many variations on how the PPs can look. They can overlap or be right next to each other or they can nest in the fold.


I like to to start laying them out from the center of the edge to the corners and space them so when you get to the corner the PPs meets tip to tip on each edge.

There is some good info here that I didn't think of like quilting only up to 1" away from the edge of the quilt. This is also for the points along the edge of a quilt.
