2013 Firefighters Quilt finished, THANK you everyone for your advise...
At the center is the silouette of the praying firefighter..surrounded by 6 pair of boots, each with the name of a local fire co.At the top & bottom, is the firefighters prayer. On the back I made a small pair of boots with the quilt info inside. I tied/knotted this quilt to the back as to not detract from the appliques. I have some trimming & cleaning up to do, then it's off to the auction.

This quilt , along with a lot of other goodies!! will be auctioned off next month. The group doing the auction will divide the proceeds between all 6 fire companies.
