It's not paper piecing, it's foundation piecing which is much easier, no backward sewing. I bought the template and papers when it was a daily deal. The paper is very nice and pulls out of the seam in one piece. I would recommend buying the template and papers. The quilt she made all the points are fine. I'll make four blocks today and see what happens. That's why most of these are string quilts, so much yardage for the solid background many people won't buy that much at one time plus more for the backing.
