All Recipes.com has many versions of Irish Soda Bread. We had a foreign exchange student from Kerry and he gave me this version and called it American Irish Soda Bread cause we liked it sweeter.
Bake at 350 about a half hour. Tastes great toasted!
1/4 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 pinch salt
1 cup sour cream
1 cup raisins
