Need help with pattern
I am trying to make a quilt pattern called "Repeating Crosses." Following the directions has not worked so far. The directions call for sewing a light and dark strip together, the resulting strip is now 3.5" wide. She then has you measure 7.25" across the base of the triangle and cut 45 degree angles. When I do that, the triangles have flat tops. To have the point intact, the base must be closer to 7". Just wondered if anyone else had made this pattern.
