Default We raised $400 with a quilt I donated for kids!

There's an organization growing around our area that helps feed school-aged children who don't have anything to eat in the afternoons and weekends, called Sacks of Love. I found out about this thru my chiropractor who was trying to raise donations of money, but nobody was noticing the little white bucket sitting there. So I asked him about trying to sell chances for a quilt that I would donate (I had just finished one). It's a cheater fabric, and I'm still learning to long-arm quilt, but everybody just had to touch it and comment on it. We raised $400 at $1 a ticket, right before Christmas for this cause, and I'm so happy I could help. Here's the winner, Tim, who bought about 80 tickets, and me. He was there waiting to claim "his" quilt, and we all laughed at him, but when I drew the winning name, I couldn't believe it was his. Anyway, he grabbed it off the wall, and you can see he's happy with it.
