I appreciate your tips. I am just having a fit with the tension. I wanted to get this running smoothly so that we could gift it to a friend's daughter. She has a two year old, and I think down the road she will want to sew. But since I don't know if she will really develop the interest, I can't see investing too much. The cabinet looks ok, and has little drawers which would be nice for her.
