Thank you very much. Yes, I did use the Baby Pinwheels pattern from Moda Bakeshop. I did not attempt the prairie points (I thought the better of it!) and the backing is all one piece, as advised in the requirements and directions. The whole project was Moda in fact; the Salt Air line of fabrics and the pattern were from there. I thought I had better follow the pattern as carefully as I could and not tempt fate. I had read that a lot of people left off the prairie pints if they were beginning quilters like myself. The binding I had rather a hard time with; it is from Robert Kaufman in the Kona line: tarragon green, if I remember correctly.
