Question about placement of bear on baby quilt
This is how I imagined this quilt to turn out when finished. However, the bear is not attached yet and the outlining was done on Photoshop. I wanted the bear to be seen but not overpower the quilt. But it looks like it does not show up enough. Outlining will help. I really want it to be subtle. Also, thinking of adding 3 blocks (like children's wood blocks) down by the foot with the baby's initials on them "A" "L" "H". I still have to put the side borders on and I am thinking about a 3rd border out of the fabric that makes up the bow around the bears neck. It is a bit dark but seems to work well with the colors. (It will be used for the backing.) I only have 3 more days to finish this quilt before I head to Illinois for the baby shower. Love to have your very inspiring input.
