Success! Thank you all ! Today I did remove the bobbin case. I admit I was worried that I might make things worse but then I thought if I do then it only means a trip to the sewing machine shop. Removing the gib screw was scary. I did have the perfect screw driver and used tweezers to lift it out. The illustrations on the from the featherweight221factory web site saved the day. When I had the bobbin finger in the EXACT position it lifted right out!
Guess what no thread in there! I did clean and oil the area and put everything back. Took a few tries to get the exact position but I did it. I am one happy person. Thanks to quilting Board I would never have learned so much. I love this message
