Some of you who grew up in the 30s to 50s and like to read might give Fannie Flagg a read or two. I am reading her "Standing in the Rainbow" right now and have woke my husband up a couple of times laughing out loud (I read at night when I can't sleep and don't want to get up and sew) and I do mean laughing out loud at some of the things the kids and grown-ups get into. Her descriptions are totally on the mark and I am right there in the middle with her characters......
