One thing to keep in mind, if someone calls, is to say, "I'm so glad you called, I have been wanting to ask if you would do (this or that) so and so for me. Gardening, house cleaning, picking up children from school or an activity. Perhaps we can work something out. You do this for me for a while and it will free up some time for me to do something for you. However, I will gladly purchase the cleaning supplies and you can purchase the fabric and thread. Sounds like a winner to me.
