I will confess I did a square version first ... from a PP pattern I found online. However, it just wasn't a flag with it being square so went at 'er again bound and bent to get it rectangular. And you don't know how many times I checked and checked again that I had the diagonals and thicknesses placed in the right corner. Takes some thinking when you know it switches when you flip over a PP!
Now a Canadian green flag ... that'd be different!
Here, we celebrate The Queen's Birthday on May 24th ... with the Monday before being a statutory holiday. That being said, it's more recognition and very few festivities. Though fireworks are quite common in many communities on the long weekend. However, I bet most people have no clue about the significance of the day!
