Welcome from Illinois. I use my husbands power tools as motivational aids. When I ask him to do a little job -- hang a shelf or picture or whatever -- if he doesn't get around to it for a week or so, I go out to the garage and start dragging in tools. I usually get a drill with a GIANT bit in it. Grab a tape measure, a level, really anything that is handy. I take it all to the project site and start revving them up. He comes lickity split to see what is going on. Since he thinks I'm going to try to hang a picture with a 2 inch spade bit he gets excited and takes over. Some day he may figure out that I'm not that stupid but for now it gets my projects done with no nagging. :)
