Thanks! I don't have an embroidery machine, but the assembly method looks do-able and the example of backing fabric that hides problems is worth noting. I have enough 10-minute blocks for a large quilt among my UFOs, and I was planning to use sashing for it in any case, so that may be my experiment with this method.
