Featherweight Penguin foot Users - getting skipped stitches
After several years of looking for a penguin walking foot for my FWs I finally found one I could afford. I have a mini retreat on Monday and decided to "quilt" rather than piece so I put the foot on my FW and now have intermittent skipped stitches. I took the foot off, put the normal foot back on, no issues and I've run it full speed. Put the penguin back on.....again, intermittent skipped stitches no matter how slow or fast I go.
I have a few other FWs so I pulled out a bit newer one. I tested the machine without the penguin at all speeds, no skipped stitches. Put on the penguin, two passes, no problem, then on the third pass.....skipped stitches.
Anyone have any ideas what needs tweaking? or is the penguin bad? I didn't get the instructions with this when I bought it and I've googled today to find any online and can't seem to find any.
