I love your "scrappy", I just think they are so bright, even if you sometimes have to use some of your darker coloured scraps you can always lift the whole look by so many bright colours.
I've just started a little sewing/quilting group in our church - get the virus attached to a few ladies...
- and I brought a box full of strips to get them started on something like your quilt.
